What Is a Lefty?
What makes someone a lefty?
A lefty is usually someone whose left hand is dominant for writing and fine-motor tasks. But being left handed is not always that simple.
Some people write with their left hand but do other tasks with their right. Others throw, swing, or cut with their left hand while writing with their right. That is often called mixed-handedness or cross-dominance.
What matters most is this: left-handed people often move through a world designed for right-handed habits, tools, and layouts. That is why better left-handed products, better guidance, and better representation matter.
The Left Handed Store exists to make life easier for lefties through curated products, helpful resources, and content built for the left-handed community.
